What do I need to go abroad for treatment?

- Both severe and mild cases can be transferred, provided that the patient’s condition is stable.
3. What means of transport will be used for patient transfer?
a. Helicopter from offshore platforms with doctors and nurses on board.
b. Separate emergency aircraft with doctors and nurses.
c. First-class passenger aircraft with doctors and nurses.
d. Economy-class passenger aircraft with doctors and nurses (patients unable to sit will lie on stretchers).
e. Ambulance with doctors and nurses (if no airport is available).
4. Can family members accompany the patient?
- One family member can accompany the patient.
- How will the patient be cared for during transfer?
- A trained team of doctors and nurses carrying medications, IV fluids, and medical equipment will take care of the patient throughout the journey.
5. To which countries can we transfer patients?
- Most countries according to the patient’s request, subject to VISA availability (MWI will handle documentation).
- Which hospitals will we transfer patients to?
- Leading hospitals based on the patient’s condition (MWI supports hospital admission procedures).
